About Us

EncycLAWpedia is a Monash Law Ambassador initiative, established in 2019, that aims to help law students bridge the gap between study and practice. Our website and podcast host a range of interviews with lawyers practising in a wide variety of legal industry sectors. We hope that the insights and experiences shared by these working professionals will help to better inform students about available career paths as well as the realities of working in law.

In 2022 and beyond, we hope to expand our project by continuing to deliver informative guides! We are also currently working on providing exciting and informative new resources in new areas and for different demographics…stay tuned, many exciting things to come!

Want to get involved?

Students:

As part of the Monash Law Ambassador Program, we look for new members at the start of the program, corresponding with the beginning of Semester 1 every school year. Regardless of what year you’re in or how much you know about law pathways, we’d love to have you onboard if you’re enthusiastic and hard-working! Learn more about the program here. Upon acceptance of the program, you will be advised of the next steps.

Professionals:

We are always looking for legal professionals of all backgrounds to get involved in our project! Our interview process can be conducted over email or a short 20-30 minute phone-call. If you'd love to help out and share your wisdom, please feel free to shoot us an email where one of our team members will be happy to tell you more about our project.
